Setting: Church.
Event: 1yo in my lap, content with blanky, binky, baby & fruit snacks.
Nearby, a toddler friend spies our drawing toy in my bag and wants to play with it during church. At the VERY moment he touches the toy, 1yo begins to tantrum, pointing to and demanding the toy to whose existence she was previously oblivious.
Why? JUST BECAUSE, mom. Just because!!!!
*sigh* There was video of me doing this exact same thing at my 2yo birthday party.
Embarrassing.
To my credit, I was turning 2 - but still...
where was my humility, giving spirit, and propensity to share all that i have?
